Miles Himmelreich Speaks on Stigma Surrounding FASD

Myles Himmelreich is a motivational speaker and advocate for children, adults, and families affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. At this year’s 7th International Conference on FASD in Vancouver, BC, Miles presented the prelimary results of a community survey documenting the health challenges many adults living with FASD face, a presentation co-authored by C.J. Lutke and Emily Travis. In this recording of the address he gave, Myles says, “I’m not broken, I don’t need fixing.”

Thank you for sharing your story, Miles, and for advocating for this important cause!
